THE JOURNEY BEGINS

Arrive in Guwahati or Dibrugarh, depending on your selected gateway.

For guests arriving in Guwahati, connect onward to the Dibrugarh/Tinsukia gateway before beginning the road journey.

Meet the Green Multimode team and begin the journey towards Aalo, travelling through the changing landscapes of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Arrive in Aalo and check in.

DAY 02

AALO → MECHUKA

INTO THE HIDDEN HIMALAYAS

After breakfast, begin the spectacular mountain journey towards Mechuka.

Travel through winding mountain roads, forested valleys and dramatic Himalayan landscapes as you make your way deeper into Arunachal Pradesh.

Arrive in Mechuka, check in and settle into your stay.

Evening: Take a relaxed walk around the valley and enjoy the first views of the surrounding mountains.

DAY 03

MECHUKA

CULTURE • MONASTERY • VALLEY LIFE

Wake up to the mountains of Mechuka.

Explore the valley and visit Samten Yongcha Monastery, one of the region's important cultural landmarks.

Discover the villages and local way of life of the Memba community, with time to experience the architecture, landscape and traditions of the valley.

Evening: Riverside walk and sunset views.

Today is dedicated to the adventurous side of Mechuka.

Depending on weather, season and local operator availability, choose from experiences such as:

For travellers looking for a slower experience, enjoy village walks, photography, riverside exploration and the surrounding Himalayan landscapes.

Set out to explore more of the Mechuka valley.

Visit selected villages and cultural landmarks, with the day's route planned according to local access and conditions.

Possible experiences include Dorjeeling Village, Gurudwara Guru Nanak Taposthan and the Yargyap Chu river valley.

Meet local communities, discover traditional ways of life and experience the extraordinary landscape of this remote Himalayan region.

DAY 06

MECHUKA → AALO

THE RETURN JOURNEY

After breakfast, begin the journey back towards Aalo.

Travel through the mountains and valleys, taking in the changing landscapes along the route.

Arrive in Aalo and check in.

Evening: Relax and unwind.

DAY 07

AALO → DIBRUGARH / GUWAHATI

THE JOURNEY HOME

After breakfast, begin the return journey towards Assam.

Guests choosing the Dibrugarh Gateway will continue to Dibrugarh for their onward journey.

Guests choosing the Guwahati Gateway will continue onward to Guwahati.
